Welcome to Domiverse ("One Platform. Every Need."). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Domiverse website, pre-launch waitlist, partner onboarding portal, and marketplace services operated by My Domiverse Ltd (RC 8460697), a company registered under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

By creating an account, joining the waitlist, or submitting a business profile on Domiverse, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Account Registration and Single-Account Roles

  1. Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into binding contracts under Nigerian law to register an account.
  2. One Account, Multiple Roles: Domiverse operates a unified account system. Your single account may hold the Customer role, the Vendor role, the Service Provider role, or any combination thereof. Your pre-launch account and credentials remain your permanent Domiverse account at marketplace launch.
  3. Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password. Domiverse staff will never ask for your password or send you a password by email.

2. Pre-Launch Waitlist and Partner Onboarding

  1. Free Onboarding: Joining the customer waitlist and completing partner onboarding (creating a business profile, uploading product or service listings, and submitting verification documents) are free of charge.
  2. No Guaranteed Launch Date or Rewards: Domiverse will notify registered users by email as the marketplace prepares to open. Referral links track verified sign-ups referred by you; no financial rewards or commissions are promised during Phase 1 unless explicitly announced in writing by My Domiverse Ltd.

3. Partner Verification and Listing Standards

  1. Accuracy of Information: Vendors and service providers warrant that all business details, CAC registration numbers, government identification documents, and professional licences submitted for verification are authentic, accurate, and belong to the applicant.
  2. Prohibited Items and Services: Listings must comply with all applicable laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Counterfeit goods, illegal substances, fraudulent services, and misrepresented items are strictly prohibited.
  3. Review and Approval: Domiverse reserves the right to review, request changes to, approve, or reject any business profile or listing at its discretion to protect marketplace trust. Only approved listings belonging to approved businesses will be published when the marketplace opens.

4. Escrow Protection Framework

When marketplace transactions open, payments for products and services on Domiverse are processed through Domiverse Escrow:

  • Customer payments are held securely in escrow before order dispatch or service commencement.
  • Funds are released to the vendor or service provider upon customer confirmation of delivery or in accordance with the platform's escrow release and dispute resolution rules.
  • Attempting to divert customers off the Domiverse platform to bypass escrow protection is a violation of these Terms and grounds for account suspension.

5. Intellectual Property and Media Uploads

You retain ownership of the photographs, logos, and descriptions you upload to Domiverse. By uploading media and listings, you grant My Domiverse Ltd a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, resize, optimize, and display those materials on the platform for the purpose of operating and promoting your storefront and the marketplace.

6. Suspension and Termination

Domiverse may suspend or terminate accounts that provide falsified verification documents, violate Nigerian law, abuse platform systems, or breach these Terms. You may request account deletion at any time via your Account Settings.

7. Limitation of Liability and Governing Law

To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, My Domiverse Ltd provides the pre-launch platform on an "as is" basis. These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.
